About Me

Nancy: Brevard, North Carolina, United States; First I am a Mom. Then a daughter. And then I love to sew! I have been designing for a long time now. I am a fabriholic and can't stop buying fabric. So I have to do something with all that fabric! I started designing purses and handbags out of necessity. I needed a specific color to go with a specific outfit. I searched long and hard and came out empty. So I tried to throw something together. It was great and so were the compliments I got. Everyone wanted to know where I got my bag. So Mom and I decided to start our business. Me with my designs and she with hers. And our little shops were born. Bag Ladies, too is a part of henriDesigns. Mom is Henri with an "i." Henri is the real arty one. She can do anything. And now we spread our wings on Etsy. Check the links to the shops we have there. We just started and we hope to grow and grow. We live in the blue Ridge Mountains in North Carolina. We look out our window and see seasons full of colour and textures. We can smell hyacinths in the spring, our neighbors lawn cuttings in the summer, pumpkins in the fall and crisp cold air with the first snow of winter. And we are blessed.
